Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords is Now Open

Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe is Bringing Touring-Caliber Live Music and Craft Cocktails to South Tahoe.

Weeklong grand opening celebration draws A-list crowd from American Century Championship, including Stephen Curry, Bobby Flay, Alfonso Ribeiro, Brian Urlacher, Drew Brees and more.

Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords, a rustic and rollicking live music and craft cocktail lounge, is now open at the newly remodeled and revealed Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe. The weeklong grand opening celebration turned Tessie’s into the unofficial hangout during the American Century Championship, drawing A-list celebrities and athletes, including Food Network icon Bobby Flay, NBA stars Stephen Curry, Dell Curry, Seth Curry, Doc Rivers and Ray Allen, NFL greats Drew Brees and Brian Urlacher, sitcom legend Alfonso Ribeiro, Emmy-nominated actor Anthony Anderson, and more.

Live rock by touring-caliber musicians fuels the party seven nights a week, backed by killer craft cocktails and a mountain soul that keeps the crowd dancing from the hot summer nights straight through après ski parties come winter. Tessie’s arrives as the Tahoe cousin to Clique Hospitality‘s legendary Las Vegas live music haunts, Caspian’s Cocktails and Caviar at Caesars Palace and The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails at The Cosmopolitan, which have drawn surprise performances by music legends, including Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, including Sir Rod Stewart, Bruno Mars and Dave Matthews

Like its Las Vegas counterparts, Tessie’s attracts music lovers of all ages, 21 and over. “It’s incredible how music erases generational lines,” said John Pettei, VP of nightlife and a partner in Clique Hospitality. “Any given night, you’ll see guests of all ages shoulder to shoulder, singing along with the band.”

The bar also welcomes locals as well as South Tahoe’s seasonal visitors. “The same message keeps coming back to us from locals: Tahoe needed this,” said Pettei. “Tessie’s adds a layer to the bar scene with an offering that’s entirely new to this area.”

The stage comes alive seven nights a week with solo artists and duos from 7:30 to 9 p.m. before full bands take over from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The lineup includes special events such as Sailing Club, a yacht rock-fueled monthly series, Faded Karaoke nights, inviting guests to unleash their inner rock star backed by Tessie’s live house band. When the snow flies, Amped Apres will run throughout ski season, serving as a high-energy landing pad after a day on the slopes before the night’s entertainment gets cranking.

The bar program features craft cocktails built with rare, carefully sourced spirits, alongside champagne, wine and draft and bottled beer. Signature cocktails include the Sweet Child O-Pine Old Fashioned, made with Knob Creek bourbon, local pine sugar and walnut and alpino bitters; Altitude Adjustment, made with Belvedere vodka, Chareau aloe liqueur, kiwi, lychee, lime and coconut water; Smoke Berry Fields Forever, with Del Maguey Vida mezcal, strawberry, lime, agave and yuzu bitters; Secret Cove, inspired by Tahoe’s hidden coves and made with a secret combination of vodka, rum and hypnotic for a tropical and smooth finish; and Ready, Aim, Fire, made with Del Maguey Vida mezcal, lime, honey and pineapple juice, topped with a sprinkle of pink peppercorn. Tessie’s also offers an extensive spirits selection and elevated bottle service, including vodka, tequila, mezcal, gin, whiskey, cognac and rum.

Tessie’s brings the legendary folklore of Lake Tahoe’s mythical serpent to life through an immersive hospitality experience designed by Celano Design Studio Co. Inspired by the warmth of a vintage ski lodge and the sophistication of mountain modern design, the space blends rich natural materials, layered textures and curated vintage elements to create a setting that feels both timeless and theatrical. Signature features, including a sculptural serpent chandelier, restored historic bar, and intimate lounge seating, celebrate Tahoe’s history while supporting live music, social connection, and evolving entertainment throughout the evening.

“The most memorable spaces tell a story, and Tessie’s reimagines a piece of Lake Tahoe folklore through design, creating a destination that brings people together and captures the character and spirit of the region,” said Vincent Celano, Founder & CEO of Celano Design Studio Co. “Tessie’s is a celebration of Lake Tahoe’s unique energy, reimagined to create an experience that guests will want to return to again and again.”

Reservations are available at TessiesTahoe.com, and walk-ins are always welcome. Tessie’s is open from 5 p.m. to late daily. Parking validation is available to guests with bar tabs of $30 or more.
