A new intriguing play is currently being presented at Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
Audiences can catch the new work “Fault,” by Scooter Pietsch, through May 24 at The Yard at Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
“Fault” revolves around the life of married couple Lucy and Jerry Green and their complicated and unhappy marriage. After Lucy is caught in an adulterous situation when Jerry returns from work one evening, all mayhem breaks loose onstage for the remainder of the play. The show runs 90 minutes without an intermission.
Questions of what love and marriage should really be, who’s at fault for a crumbling relationship, betrayal, loyalty and more are in the spotlight in this production.

“Fault,” directed by popular actor Jason Alexander of “Seinfeld” fame, features strong performances, perfect comedic timing, and a witty script.
Starring in the dark comedy are Enrico Colantini, Rebecca Spence and Nick Marini.
There’s much to keep the audience interested in this show. The dramatic interaction between the performers and a few surprises will definitely keep an audience member’s attention.
Says playwright Pietsch, “I love to write about edgy and outrageous but relatable subjects.” And he does just that in “Fault.”
Take the opportunity to see this show.
Next up in June at Chicago Shakespeare Theater is “Brokeback Mountain.”
