Ever since she started her own newspaper at age eight, selling it to neighbors who had no choice but to subscribe, Jane has loved to write.

She’s now upped her game writing about travel, food, history for newspapers, magazines and Websites and is the author of 18 books including Lincoln Road Trip: The Back-Roads Guide to America’s Favorite President which won the Lowell Thomas Journalism Award Bronze for Best Travel Book. Her most recent books are Little Ohio: Small Town Destinations and, with Patricia Yellig Koch, Santa’s Daughter. Her true crime books How to Murder Your Wealthy Lovers and Get Away With It: Money & Mayhem in the Gilded Age, America’s Femme Fatale: The Story of Serial Killer Belle Gunness , and Murders That Made Headlines: Crimes of Indiana.
